EastEnders spoilers: Cora leaves the Square after saying her goodbyes – first look pictures

Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) is to announce that she’s exiting following Stan's funeral

Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) is to reach a big decision about her future in the wake of fiancé Stan Carter’s death.

Scenes to be shown next week will see Cora plan on leaving Walford and going to stay with daughter Tanya. But not before she sets a few people straight about their actions first.

In the episode to be broadcast on Monday 20 April, Cora will start to feel shunned by the Carters in the run-up to Stan’s funeral and will go to visit Dot in prison, where the pair come to a mutual understanding of each other’s grief.

Taking matters into her own hands, Cora then returns to the Vic and demands to travel to Stan’s funeral in the same car as the Carter family despite Babe’s frostiness.

But after she’s paid her respects to Stan at his send-off, Cora tells her friends she’s leaving town to go and stay with Tanya. But before she leaves, she warns Babe that she knows about a secret she’s harbouring. Just what is Babe hiding? And have we really seen the last of Cora?
