The script for Fresh Meat’s fourth and final series is here

The gang will be "a little older" but "not much wiser" when the hit Channel 4 comedy returns after a two year hiatus

Good news Fresh Meat fans! The script for series four is FINALLY here and the show’s creators have offered us our first sneak peek at it via the show’s official Facebook page.

Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain (the team that also brought you Peep Show and Babylon) have joined creative forces once again to pen the ominously titled ” The Purge”, which is now ready for the cast’s readthrough.

It’s been two years since the university-set comedy, starring Jack Whitehall, Zawe Ashton, Greg McHugh, Kimberley Nixon, Joe Thomas and Charlotte Ritchie, was on our TV screens and it’s coming back for one last huzzah. They do have to graduate at some stage, after all.

“I’m feeling so good because it was the first big show I ever did”, Charlotte Ritchie told earlier this year. “It feels a bit like going back to uni. I’m imagining two months of fun. It’s going to be awesome.”

There’s no word yet on what might happen in The Purge, but it certainly sounds as though it could tie in with one of Riley’s own predictions.

“Ideally I’d like all the other characters to die so it’s just the Oregon show!” she joked at the Radio Times Covers Party.

Here’s hoping she doesn’t have to eat her words.
