Jurassic Park gets the Lego treatment in first full gameplay trailer

New video game promises amusing T-Rex rated Lego fun for dinosaur fans and movielovers alike

Lego has released the first game play trailer for it’s new Jurassic Park project and it certainly takes us on a trip down movie memory lane.

Lego Jurassic World aims to take the player through story lines from all four Jurassic Park films, including the upcoming Jurassic World which is due for release on June 12th 2015.

Of course Lego games are known for putting a humourous twist on any tale and this one is no different.

Players will be able to relive classic scenes from Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World, but they might notice subtle differences.

Velociraptor kisses anyone?

Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna have both been recreated in glorious Lego detail, with the iconic buildings, foliage and dinosaurs clicking perfectly.

Sir Richard Attenborough, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are among the actors who also get the Lego treatment.

The game’s release will coincide with the debut of the fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard lead the cast of Jurassic World, which takes us back to a very different Isla Nubar.

The scientists have been playing about with dinosaur DNA and created a terrifying T-Rex hybrid (Indominus or D-Rex) for Star Lord to chase down on a motorbike with his trusty band of raptor buddies.

Now that’s a scene we’d love to see recreated in Lego.

Lego Jurassic World is released in June.
