EastEnders may have celebrated its 30th anniversary, but there are a few residents of Albert Square who aren’t in a mood for partying. Dot Branning, for one, is in a terrible state, having been taken away by the police after admitting that she let son Nick die.
Now, in scenes to be shown on Tuesday 3 March, Sharon (Letitia Dean) decides to visit Dot in prison, but is left in shock when her old friend refuses to accept her help and pleads with her not to visit her again.
So why is Dot not accepting any help and can Sharon get through to her? Certainly, a concerned Sharon is not intending to give up – after returning to the Square she decides to find the cash for a good lawyer. But does Dot want to be freed?
