Steph and Dom Parker from Channel 4’s Gogglebox are developing a chat show format in which celebrities visit their Kent guesthouse.
Steph revealed at the Radio Times Covers’ Party that names are currently being considered for the new show which is expected to follow the format of the recent one-off in which they were visited by UKIP leader Nigel Farage.
“We are looking forward to it very much,” Steph told RadioTimes.com. “We haven’t got the line up quite yet.”
She said she wants to welcome “people we wouldn’t normally see, sitting back and relaxing and drinking my really filthy Irish coffee” on the programme.
She adds that after Nigel Farage she would love to play host to David Cameron.
“I would probably ask him to walk the dog and ask him to perform some basic chores to make him feel at home. And probably supply him with a good whisky. I think that would do the trick.”
She said that Dom was fighting fit on Channel 4’s The Jump, despite suffering a recent fall.
“He had suspected concussion. We are amazed he is still there… no broken bones. He is having a fantastic time. Actually too good a time I think.
“Quite categorically I have told him if he comes back in a body cast I for one shall not change his catheter for him.”
