If you’d been wondering what to expect from the sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s 2012 hit film Ted, now we know – it’s more raunchy comedy, pop culture references and a Patrick Stewart voiceover – but this time with a legal twist.
In the new film, Ted must prove he’s actually a person in a court of law, or he can’t have children with new wife Brandy-Lin – so he and best friend John (Mark Wahlberg) hook in Amanda Seyfried’s hot-shot lawyer, called…er…Sam L Jackson. You can check out the first look at the action below.
Along the way there’s a Flash Gordon-officiated weddinjg, a rather unfortunate accident in the sperm bank and some childish pranks – but luckily they’ve roped in Morgan Freeman to add a little bit of gravitas to proceedings (although other new addition Liam Neeson doesn’t pop up in the trailer)
There’s one omission from the cast, however – Family Guy star Mila Kunis, who played John’s girlfriend then wife in the first film. Could romance be in the air between him and Seyfried’s Sam instead? We’ll have to wait and see…
