Last night was a bumper night for TV, with plenty to please period drama fans, as well as a new entertainment format. While Call the Midwife returned for its much-anticipated fourth series on BBC1, Foyles War bowed out after 13 popular years and ITV introduced its new celeb reality show Get Your Act Together.
