It’s been a long time coming, but the public axe finally fell on Friday night with the first live eviction of Celebrity Big Brother 2015.
Chloe Goodman was the casualty, the reality star and model losing out to Alexander O’Neal, Michelle Visage and Alicia Douvall in the viewer vote.
She walked out to the house in a posh frock (Big Brother had made the housemates dress in Regency costumes), but the crowd didn’t grant her many airs and graces, booing her as she made her way to presenter Emma Willis.
“It’s always brutal,” the 21-year-old said of her time in the house. “I went in there and did what I wanted to do, I was myself.”
Right after Chloe made her exit, Katie Price entered the house as the ‘surprise’ addition to this year’s lineup (when in fact rumours that she was to be involved had been swirling about in the press for days).
Chloe’s parting shot in her exit interview was aimed at controversial housemate Perez Hilton: “Perez is the biggest wind-up merchant I’ve met in my life. And wait till Michelle gets her hands on him.
“I never expected it to be as hard as that, and as easy at the same time,” she added of her Big Brother experience.
The first public eviction had been delayed this year after two celebrities were removed by Big Brother for unacceptable behaviour. Jeremy Jackson was the first to go after he drunkenly pulled open Chloe’s dressing gown while the two were alone together. He was followed by former Coronation Street star Ken Morley, told to leave the house after “unacceptable and offensive language.”
Twitter was mixed in its reaction to Chloe’s exit…
