Katie Price enters Celebrity Big Brother House: “The price was right”

The model and businesswoman isn't sure if she'll stir things up, as it's revealed she’ll have a doctor on standby to keep an eye on her boob reduction recovery

It’s happened. Katie Price has entered the Celebrity Big Brother House. Yes, in a new twist, Price went in following tonight’s live eviction.

Why, you may ask?

“There is always a price for the Pricey and the price was right.”

To the point as ever.

Price says she’s been “glued” to the show so far and she’s excited to go in, although she needs a doctor on standby.

“I’m still recovering from boob reduction. Big Brother is aware of it. I had my boobs reduced. There is a doctor on standby the whole time to keep checking me, but other than that my banter is still there.”

On taking part Price says she hopes people will see “the real Katie Price” rather than “the version of Katie Price a section of the press like to invent”.

She’s not particularly bothered about coming face to face with Katie Hopkins, who has criticised her in the past. “But if they start pick on [my son] Harvey, like Frankie Boyle did, then that is a different kettle of fish.

“I don’t care what people say about me, but when it comes to kids who can’t defend themselves then I think it is cruel and wrong.”

So will she be mixing things up?

“Most people probably want me to say I’m going to go in there and I’m going to stir the pot. I’m not going to say I’ll be like that because until I’m there, who knows? I might go into the House and become really good friends with Katie Hopkins; you don’t know what is going to happen.”

On leaving husband Kieran alone to look after their children, Price says: “Well, he handles it anyway, because if I go to work he has the kids. He’s really good with the kids and we’re a good team. He will miss me and I’ll miss him and the kids. That is my biggest thing, the family. It’s going to be hard because I don’t even like having a night away from then, but I know that is part of the deal and you just have to get on with it.

“It’ll be me; I know I’ll find it difficult.”
