Rebooted Scott, Virgil, Alan, Gordon and John can be seen below, looking rather buff and standing in front of their exotic home Tracy Island.

The new children’s series – a collaboration between ITV and CITV – will use a mix of CGI animation and live-action models to bring Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s much-loved 1960s series bang up to date.

Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Pride and Prejudice) will voice Lady Penelope, while original cast member David Graham is reprising his role as Parker. Other familiar voices will include Fonejacker’s Kayvan Novak as inventor Brains and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones, The Maze Runner) as John Tracy.
