Madame Tussauds in London has unveiled a new waxwork of Jennifer Lawrence‘s Hunger Games heroine Katniss Everdeen.
Wearing the outfit from Catching Fire, the second instalment in the Hunger Games series, Katniss sports her signature braided hairstyle, brown leather hunting jacket with knee-length tie-up leather brown boots, quiver and bow.
Katniss waxworks have also been created at Madame Tussauds in New York and Hollywood.
A Madame Tussauds London spokesperson, said, “We are hugely excited to have worked with Lionsgate to launch a Katniss wax figure following The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
“The figure is in its own film-specific backdrop, allowing our guests to get up close to Katniss and the beloved story of The Hunger Games, which we know they’ll love.”
After all that fighting for survival in the films, Katniss might be relieved to have a less dynamic time at Madame Tussauds. Although all those fan selfies might get tiring…
It’s been quite a year for star waxworks, with a Benedict Cumberbatch’s lookalike unveiled earlier this year after he topped the “most requested” list for over 12 months.
