Celebrity Big Brother host Emma Willis admits she’s had a sneak peek at the list of housemates for the new series launching in January and promises a “stellar” lineup.
“I normally stay very blind to it all right up until the last minute but this year I’ve actually seen part of a list very early,” said Willis.
“This is going to be one of the best ever series of the show. I have such high hopes for the series – that’s how good I think it’s going to be. You won’t not recognise anybody if it stays like this. This year seems like a proper stellar cast and that’s always great to watch.”
“It’s always got a cast that the people behind the show know will make magic on screen,” she said. “It’s always done so well. There’s a lot that goes into the thought process of how these characters are all going to work together.”
Former Big Breakfast presenter Keith Chegwin, ex-model Calum Best, and the X Factor’s Stevi Ritchie and Jake Quickenden are rumoured to be braving the Big Brother house, but nobody has yet been confirmed.
Last year, the celebrities living under the ever-watchful BB eye included B*Witched’s Edele, TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger and former Strictly dancer James Jordan, with Lethal Weapon actor Gary Busey winning the series.
The house has been redesigned for a whimsical but sinister “Twisted Fairytale” theme.
Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 in January.
