Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones on The Theory of Everything’s “stunningly romantic” story

The pair play Stephen and Jane Hawking in the Oscar-tipped film based on the life of the internationally renowned scientist

The Theory of Everything is the story of Professor Stephen Hawking’s battle with motor neurone disease, but it also tells the tale of an epic romance between the world famous physicist and his first wife, Jane.

Hawking (played to perfection by Eddie Redmayne) first met Jane (Felicity Jones) at a party in Cambridge where they were both studying in their twenties, shortly before his life-changing diagnosis.

The film charts their marriage over the next 30 years, and is already generating a buzz ahead of next year’s awards season.
