M’s bulldog appears in first picture from the set of new Bond film Spectre

James Bond fans get a glimpse of the porcelain dog from Skyfall as shooting begins on the 24th film

James Bond’s official Twitter account has released the first photo from the set of Spectre at London’s Pinewood studios, to mark the beginning of filming yesterday.

But rather than Daniel Craig or a martini glass, it was M’s porcelain bulldog from Skyfall that 007 fans caught a glimpse of… 

The first sneak peek at the set comes after last week’s live cast announcements. After weeks of speculation, it was revealed that the 24th James Bond film will star Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista. Daniel Craig will be reprising 007 for the fourth time with Naomie Harris returning as Eve Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, and Ben Whishaw as Q.

We’re hoping for some more behind-the-scenes photos of Spectre filming over the next year before the movie is released on 6th November 2015. But, in the meantime – just in case you haven’t watched it enough – here’s the film’s very dramatic title reveal…
