Andrew Scott and Freema Agyeman turn spies in new images from Six Degrees of Assassination

The pair's Audible radio drama is a political thriller following an MI5 investigation into the British Prime Minister's assassination

New audio drama Six Degrees of Assassination sees the coming together of two formidable fandoms: Sherlock and Doctor Who. Andrew Scott – who portrays Moriarty to Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock – and Freema Agyeman, who played Martha Jones, companion to David Tennant’s Doctor, both lend their voices to the political thriller which follows an MI5 investigation into the assassination of the Prime Minister.

On a cloudy July day, ten years after the 7/7 terrorist attacks, a popular PM is paying a visit to a charity in east London when a man jumps out of the crowd and shoots him three times in the chest. It’s down to MI5’s chief counter terrorism officer Alex Cartwright (Scott) to uncover what happened…

Alex is joined by fellow counter terrorism officer Ellen Townsend (Agyeman) in the hunt for the killer with Spooks actress Hermione Norris also on board as the Prime Minister’s wife Sandra Campbell.

The drama – available on Audible – is gripping stuff, and while we don’t actually get to see their faces, there are some exciting new snaps of Andrew and Freema in spy-mode…

Hold on, something looks familiar…?

Yup, if you’re a fan of Homeland, you’re sure to like this – writer Matt J Arlidge describes it as a “visceral, edge-of-your-seat drama” which “explores the nation’s reaction to an epoch-making event, whilst delivering a conspiracy thriller worthy of Homeland”.
