Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman will be back in the ballroom this Saturday night.
The star, who has been absent in recent weeks after her eight-year-old daughter Matilda was burned while trick-or-treating at Halloween, will return to her hosting duties alongside Tess Daly.
Following the accident last month, Winkleman and her husband Kris Thykier released a statement confirming their daughter was “having the best care possible and we are hopeful of a full recovery.”
It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball had stepped in to Winkleman’s role for the last three weeks which included the Blackpool special.
The BBC announced the news of Winkleman’s return on Strictly’s official blog, saying: “After last week’s Blackpool extravaganza Claudia returns to the Strictly Ballroom to co-host with Tess Daly.”
The posting also confirmed the return of Robin Windsor and Anya Garnis “in a cops and robbers themed pro-dance”, as reported by RadioTimes.com this week.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7:00pm on BBC1
