It’s big band week on the X Factor this Saturday night. Helpfully, ITV have cleared up any confusion about the theme.
It’s bascially the night the X Factor acts all go a bit Michael Bublé on us (Ben Haenow quite literally) as they sing with a live band in the studio.
There’s eight acts left – four are Simon’s. He won’t bring that up though. We thought we’d best mention it for him.
After last week’s shock exit of Paul Akister the acts will be feeling pretty nervous. So what are they bringing to the table in this big band week? Check it out:
Mel B and the last remaining boy
Andrea Faustini: Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald
Cheryl and the last remaining girl
Lauren Platt: Smile by Nat King Cole
Only The Young: I wanna be like you from The Jungle Book
Stereo Kicks yet to be confirmed after “massive decision” to change on Friday afternoon
Ben Haenow: Cry Me A River by Micahel Bublé
Fleur East: Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj (yes, that one from her Judges’ Houses audition)
Jay James: Empire State of Mind/New York New York medley by Alicia Keys/Frank Sinatra
Stevi Ritchie: Mambo Number 5/ She Bangs medley by Lou Bega/Ricky Martin
Also, the Band Aid 30 video will premiere on Sunday night’s results show, with One Direction, Ellie Goulding and U2 expected to star.
See The X Factor Saturday at 8:15pm and Sunday at 8:00pm on ITV
