Bruce Forsyth returns to Strictly Come Dancing for Children in Need special

The former presenter will reunite with Tess Daly as junior ballroom champions take to the floor to win the Pudsey glitterball

Sir Bruce Forsyth is set to resume his Strictly Come Dancing presenting duties for tonight’s Children in Need special.

Brucie will be slipping on his dancing shoes and reuniting with Tess Daly to present a Strictly first: two teams of four dancers going head-to-head.

The teams will be made up of four professional dancers and four young ballroom champions, who will dance a combination of foxtrot and quickstep moves to songs You Make Me Feel So Young and Happy Feet.

Anton du Beke and Natalie Lowe head up team Glitter with junior dancers Elliot and Mia, while troupe Sparkle will be Tristan MacManus and Aliona Vilani with young Daniel and Ella.

After both teams have performed their routines, judges Len, Darcey, Bruno and Craig will decide who deserves to take home Pudsey glitterball.

Forsyth will also be back on dance-floor duty for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special, which will see popular stars from previous series – such as Russell Grant, Louis Smith and Lisa Riley – compete to be named festive champion.

BBC Children in Need is on tonight (14th November) at 7:30pm on BBC1
