Here’s something to get you revved up this Saturday. The trailer for Fast & Furious 7, the latest in the wildly popular autoerotic action series, is launching tonight and you can watch it live.
Starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham, Furious 7’s release was pushed back by almost a year following the tragic death of Paul Walker last November. It’s understood that Walker’s character Brian O’Conner will retire in the movie, with extra scenes shot using CGI and Walker’s brothers Caleb and Cody as stand-ins.
Further complicating the already twisted timeline and naming conventions of the series, Furious 7 is the first in the series to take place after The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift, the third instalment in the franchise. The previous three movies (Fast & Furious, Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6) all took place between 2 Fast 2 Furious (the second movie) and Tokyo Drift. Got that?
The trailer, as well as a Q&A with the cast, is scheduled to start at 20:00 GMT (15:00EST). Furious 7 will be released in cinemas on the 3rd April 2015.
UPDATE: Well that was fun. The Italian Job-ish trailer is now online for you to watch over and over again.
