Cheryl Fernandez-Versini loses two acts in second X Factor double elimination

First Louis Walsh, now Cheryl has lost two acts as Chloe-Jasmine and Stephanie Nala are sent home

We’re only two weeks into the X Factor live shows and we’ve already lost four acts, as tonight saw yet another double elimination.

Last week saw Louis Walsh lose two of his groups after Blonde Electra and Overload Generation were sent home. But tonight it was Cheryl’s turn to see two acts leave as Stephanie Nala and Chloe-Jasmine were voted off.

Stephanie was the first act to leave, having the least number of public votes to her name.

Chloe-Jasmine was plonked into the sing-off with Louis’s mega eight-piece band Stereo Kicks, but she failed to win over the judges with her performance of The Shirelles’ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?

While Louis and Cheryl opted to save their own acts, Mel backed Stereo Kicks, saying it was based purely on their sing-off performances. While Simon blamed the song choice from last night’s 80s week for putting Chloe-Jasmine in trouble, he still decided to back the boy band. The music mogul couldn’t help a little dig at Louis adding, “Louis hasn’t got a clue what to do with you.”

Louis was far too busy chanting Stereo Kicks with the audience to seem to mind too much.
