Mary Berry swaps baking for the Dark Arts at Harry Potter Studio Tour

Is queen of the kitchen, Mary Berry, looking to swap her iced buns and fondant fancies for more sinister concoctions? The Great British Bake Off judge was spotted at the Harry Potter Studio Tour last night for the opening of the attraction’s new Dark Arts section. 


But was the cookery writer merrily sipping on butterbeer and taking broomstick lessons? No, Bezza was spotted in Professor Snape’s dingy dungeon bringing some Bake Off magic to the classroom’s smoking potions. 

Berry wasn’t the only famous face in attendance at last night’s event which marked the beginning of a two-week interactive Dark Arts experience at Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Watford. spotted Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden grimacing as she got acquainted with a giant python, while Strictly contestant Jake Wood and TV presenters Jonathan Ross and Kirsty Allsopp also braved a tour populated by spooky Death Eaters and bubbling cocktails. 


The Harry Potter Studio Tour’s new Dark Arts section is hosting special interactive activities from Friday 17th October to Monday 3rd November
