X Factor: Fans reveal the four wildcard acts they want put through

On Saturday night, Simon Cowell, Mel B, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will all be given a wildcard act by another judge. Here’s who the fans hope are selected…

There’s a brand new twist in this year’s X Factor wildcard selection as the judges will choose for each other!

The wildcards won’t be revealed until Saturday night’s show, with the Girls, Groups, Boys and Overs categories all adding one extra singer.

And the bonus twist this year is that the wildcard can be selected from anyone who had a chair at some point during Boot Camp, rather than just from those acts sent home during Judges’ Houses.

Before we find out the judges’ choices (and who they’re choosing for) we wanted to know who our readers are hoping will walk out on the X Factor stage…

The Overs

Fans want to see Helen Fulthorpe added back into Simon Cowell’s Overs category. Helen went out during the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition after being seen to struggle with the pressure.

The Girls

Kerrianne Covell is the top choice among fans for a spot at the live shows on Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s team. Kerrianne (who is “bored of selling trainers dressed as a referee”) was also sent home during Judges’ Houses. But people want more from the smiley singer who wowed with her flawless voice.

The Groups

Judge Louis Walsh has plenty of singers to be getting on with, what with an eight-piece boy band in his team, but there’s one more group on the way. If given the choice, viewers would like that to be the ‘new girl group’ which was a collection of rejected solo singers put together by the judges at Boot Camp.

The Boys

One of the other judges has the power to choose who will be Mel B’s wildcard. But if fans had the choice, Geoff Mull would be back alongside Andrea Faustini, Paul Akister and Jake Quickenden.

*A total of 11,529 votes were cast across the four polls.
