After 46,014 suggestions flooded in for Louis Walsh's eight-piece boy band they've finally got their name - but what do you think? Cast your vote now...

X Factor’s eight-piece boy band, who have made it all the way to the live shows, started out as solo artists. After all failing to get through on their own, they were called back and put together as a band by judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Yep, just like One Direction.

This year’s boy band have been to Judges’ Houses in Bermuda, have been rehearsing on the studio stage… and all without a name.

They’ve just been known as ‘The X Factor boy band’.

The lads – Reece, Chris, James, Tom, Charlie, Barclay, Casey and Jake – called on fans to help them choose their name. Admitting they’d had some rather strange suggestions along the way.

But after whittling it down to a shortlist of five, with some help from Cowell and Walsh, the boys have finally decided on their name. And the winner is….

Stereo Kicks.

So, what do you think of the name? Is it a yes or a no from you? Vote in our poll:
