What do The Imitation Game cast and crew really think of Benedict Cumberbatch?

Mark Strong and Charles Dance are among those paying tribute to their "believable" leading man who has already been tipped for an Oscar

It’s no secret that Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance in The Imitation Game is something pretty special. The Sherlock actor has already been tipped by critics as an Oscars hopeful – buzz that the actor referred to yesterday as “flattering“.

Well, flattery was exactly what RadioTimes.com encountered last night on the red carpet of the movie’s Leicester Square premiere. Opening the 2014 London Film Festival, the stars of the Imitation Game were out in force, so we decided to quiz the cast and crew on just what it was like working with their leading man.

The compliments flowed thick and fast with Mark Strong and Charles Dance among those extolling Cumberbatch’s virtues. Have a watch above.

The Imitation Game is released in UK cinemas on Friday 14th November
