Pharrell Williams and Taylor Swift have been announced as the first guest performers on this year’s X Factor series, as this weekend sees the start of the live shows.
The two chart-toppers will perform on Sunday night’s results show, during which we’ll also find out which of this year’s singers is the first to leave the competition.
Seven-time Grammy winner Swift will be performing her new single Shake It Off, while triple platinum artist Pharrell will be singing Gust of Wind.
The line-up of guest performers this year will continue to be announced during the series, with X Factor alumni alongside some of the biggest names in the business promised by show producers.
Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh will be in the studio, all hoping their acts will be around for the following week’s guest performances, too.
See The X Factor this Saturday 7:30pm and Sunday at 8:15pm on ITV
