Daniel Radcliffe returning to magic to play Michael Caine’s son in Now You See Me sequel

The Harry Potter star is heading back to the world of wizarding, as Caine reveals Radcliffe will play his onscreen son

Daniel Radcliffe is winging his way back to the world of magic as Michael Caine reveals the Harry Potter star is set to play his onscreen son in Now You See Me sequel.

The film follows a group of professional magicians, The Four Horsemen, whose so-called illusions allow them to rob banks in front of live Las Vegas audiences.

“There’s a sequel to Now You See Me and we’re shooting in London. I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it’d be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son,” Caine tells HeyYouGuys.com.

Caine’s character Arthur Tressler was actually swindled by The Four Horsemen in the original film. This seems like the perfect opportunity for some sort of movie gag with Radcliffe holding a wand or donning a pointy wizard hat to get them back.

The sequel isn’t expected until 2016, but it is thought original stars Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco will return.
