Mark Gatiss is known for many things – writing, acting and directing – but, until now, we weren’t aware of his talents as a painter.
And it turns out when the Sherlock co-creator chooses to grab his brush and oils, he doesn’t settle for any old subject. When Gatiss paints, he paints big. He paints David Tennant.
The 47-year-old – who wrote for Tennant during his time on Doctor Who – tweeted an old painting he had done of the actor, who occupied the Tardis between 2005 and 2010.
What do you reckon? Has Gatiss succeeded in capturing Tennant’s likeness? Would you like to see the finished version, complete with Cyber-head…?
