Game of Thrones’ Kit Harrington returns to Northern Ireland for filming

The Jon Snow actor was snapped in Belfast this week and is believed to be joining the GoT crew for more scenes

[Spoilers alert] Kit Harrington, who plays Stark bastard Jon Snow has returned to Northern Ireland this week, presumably to complete scenes around the wall in the north of Westeros. The actor was snapped by a quick onlooker in Belfast:


Series five of the fantasy drama is well underway, with exotic scenes taking place in Dubrovnik, Croatia (where Cersei has to perform a naked walk) and Andalusia, in Southern Spain (which will form the backdrop of the capital of the kingdom of Dorne in Southern Westeros. Season five scenes have already taken place in Northern Ireland – Portstewart Beach in Londonderry was taken over by crew, cast and horses in August.

Game of Thrones has previously filmed in various mystical and exotic locations also including Iceland and Scotland.
