Coronation Street spoilers: Kevin Webster returns – but does he want Sally back? First look pictures

Actor Michael Le Vell is back on the ITV soap in scenes to be shown next week

The return of Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) in next week’s episodes of Coronation Street is to leave Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) fretting about his future with Sally (Sally Dynevor).

In scenes to be shown on Monday 22 September, Tim will be seen acting worried after learning about Kev’s impending  reappearance on the Street. But when the mechanic finally shows up on Wednesday, he’s soon clearing the air with Tim over a pint in the Rovers.

But Friday’s episodes find Kevin looking on wistfully as Sally takes Tim in her arms. Could Kev be after a reconciliation with his ex-wife?

Whatever Kevin’s intentions, it seems that a Webster reunion is not on the cards. When asked about whether he plans to reunite Kevin and Sally, show boss Stuart Blackburn said recently: “No, I don’t think we will. Kevin will always regret what he did in the past and there’ll always be a ‘What if?’ when it comes to Sally. His love for Sally won’t go away, but I think it’s time for him to move on and he will do that.”

Speaking to Digital Spy, the soap’s producer added: “Kevin has figured out now that Tim and Sally are for real. If there is going to be any type of affair, it’s more likely to be Tim and Kevin heading off for a pint behind Sally’s back!”
