Filming for Christine Bleakley’s new ITV travel show, Wild Atlantic, is well underway in Ireland, where she is exploring the pristine coastal route of the same name.
“It’s brilliant to be here in Ireland filming for this great new ITV series,” said Bleakley to Irish trade publication Business & Leadership. “Growing up, we always enjoyed holidaying in Donegal and Galway and drives along the stunning Atlantic coast – so, this is a dream job for me.”
The news comes after Bleakley’s Off The Beaten Track travel show was cancelled. Yet Tourism Ireland has fully supported the new six-part project, which will be broadcasted to millions of people and showcase parts of the dramatic 1500 mile-stretch, famous for the Causeway Coastal route, Boyne Valley and the Viking Triangle, plus hosting the Game of Thrones TV production.
Wild Atlantic is expected to air in 2015.
