Maroon 5’s Adam Levine sings the Sesame Street theme as Michael Jackson

Adam Levine does a very random musical impersonation unnervingly well

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine sang the Sesame Street theme song in the voice of Michael Jackson on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.

Yes, you read that correctly.

As part of a new game called Musical Impersonations, US talk show host Fallon challenged Levine to sing a random pairing of artists and songs. Levine started with a passable Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes in the style of Frank Sinatra before nailing it with a Jacko-inspired Sesame Street theme.

Big Bird, Elmo and friends will never be the same again.

Here’s Levine’s musical triumph
