Another stop on the Doctor Who World Tour, another great fashion choice from Jenna Coleman. Having wowed with vintage style in Cardiff, 60s chic in Sydney and Dior in New York, Jenna’s stand out look from Mexico City this weekend was more Dior but, rather than the classic dresses we’ve seen her in so far, a tuxedo style jumpsuit from the Pre-Fall 2014 Collection.

Jenna must have a passion for Dior to wear his collection twice on the Tour. This jumpsuit has also been seen on Alison Williams, from the hit HBO show Girls, and model Daisy Lowe, thus proving a hit with the red carpet elite. If you want to get the tailored look for your own wardrobe then I have found a selection of stylish alternatives to fit a range of budgets.

Dior Pre-Fall 2014 Jumpsuit, Navy Wrap Wide Leg Jumpsuit, £55 Wallis, Phase Eight Jessica Jumpsuit, £120 House of Fraser, Trinity Jumpsuit, £195 Tory Burch.

To get a great looking tailored jumpsuit you need to be prepared to spend a little more to get all the lines to fit your body perfectly. This look is not one where you can get away with an ill-fitting or lesser quality piece, as the simplicity will show up all the imperfections. Having said that, the first item from my alternatives selections is a really sleek looking jumpsuit from Wallis that retails at just £55. This example has a looser fit, gliding over your stomach and bottom area, allowing you to avoid the tighter more streamlined look if that’s not your style.

The next two options, however, are tailored and as such they come with a higher price tag. Keep in mind that if you went out to buy a quality two-piece suit, you probably wouldn’t come away with much change from £200, so think of the jumpsuit as a suit in one piece rather than separates. This streamlined look would be perfect for a smart day at the office, on a presentation day or for meeting new clients. I would style this look with mid-heel navy courts, so that your trousers don’t get scuffed along the floor, but don’t reveal too much of the shoe. Keep the rest of the look simple with an up hair do and a grey tote bag.

Now, will Jenna turn up the heat in the last leg of the tour in Rio de Janeiro? I hope to see something extra special for the last outing, although I doubt my wishes of a high street outfit will come to fruition. I will be hunting down the next budget alternatives for you so you don’t miss a stylish step in getting Jenna Coleman’s Doctor Who World Tour look.
