Mary Berry goes Biker Chic in Great British Bake Off – get the look

She’s done it again! Mary stepped into the GBBO tent last night sporting a white biker jacket with a gorgeous yellow floral scarf, proving yet again that you’re never too old to stay on trend

Mary’s biker-style jacket has been rumoured to be a M&S number which is no longer available. But don’t panic, I have got a great selection of alternatives to get you working that Bake Off look.

Whistles Ivory Coated Biker Jacket, £95, Biker Jacket in Cotton Mix, £29.99 H&M, Michael Kors Tweed Moto Jacket £137 House of Fraser

The key to replicating Mary’s look is to get a jacket with a textured finish. All three of these options have this feature, which make them stand out from a plain white jacket. My favourite is the Michael Kors Tweed Moto Jacket: with textured arms and collar, this piece is 100% cotton and therefore great for the transitional weather we are having at the moment. If you need an excuse to justify the price, it’s on sale down from £275 to £137 – well it must be a bargain then!

EICH Pretty Trees Print Scarf, £65 Ted Baker, Untold Dip Dye Silk Shawl, £9 House of Fraser, TODA Botanical bloom Split Scarf, £69 Ted Baker

To go with your new jacket you’re going to need a silk scarf to finish off the look. Colourful scarves are quickly becoming part of Mary’s signature style: she is rarely seen without one to jazz up her outfits in the Bake Off tent. I have put together a selection of options for you to make this look complete.

I have included two Ted Baker scarves, as for me they really are a stand-out brand in stunning printed silk. A little pricey, yes, but these very versatile pieces will get a lot of wear. My favourite is the EICH Pretty Trees: it’s just so delicate in its print design, which having had a go at silk printing myself I know is no mean feat.

What will Mary choose to wear next week: floral, leather or neon? The fashion options have been flung wide open for her as she continues to hit the style headlines…
