Filming on crime film Black Mass is underway and now there’s another familiar face to look out for on set – that of Kevin Bacon.
We’ve already been treated to snaps of Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Depp shooting scenes as a politician and crime king respectively, but now Kevin Bacon has joined the cast.
Bacon will play FBI Special Agent Charles McGuire, Deadline reports, who will no doubt have some interest in Depp’s character Whitey Bulger, who plays Cumberbatch’s on-screen mischievous brother.
The film charts the real life story of the two men as William Bulger (Cumberbatch) built up a career as a politician, claiming to be oblivious to his brother Whitey’s criminal activity, a man said to be both breaking the law and informing on those that did.
Depp is barely recognisable on set, with a receding hairline, glasses and leather jacket get up. Cumberbatch dons a more demure suit and tie ensemble.
The film certainly boasts a Hollywood-heavy cast, with Sienna Miller and the soon-to-be star of Fifty Shades of Grey Dakota Johnson among the stars.
