Sam Claflin thanks Hunger Games fans for “trusting” him to be part of the film

The 27-year-old actor took to Twitter as filming wrapped on Mockingjay: Part 2

Sam Claflin might play cocky and confident Finnick in the Hunger Games films, but it seems he’s much more humble and sensitive in real life.

As filming finished on Mockingjay – Part 2 (director Francis Lawrence tweeted saying “That’s a wrap!” yesterday) the 27-year-old British actor took to Twitter himself to say a few thank yous.

The star, who also appeared alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,  took some time to express thanks to the cast, crew and fans who have “trusted” him to be a part of the film franchise, based on Suzanne Collins’ bestselling novels.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be in UK cinemas 21 November
