Sunday is Father’s Day and while your dad might make awkward jokes, dance badly in front of your friends and embarrass your other half, it’s safe to say he’s not a patch on Walter White when it comes to fatherly indiscretions.
RJ Mitte, who played Walter White Jr on the hit US drama Breaking Bad, has taken the imminent recognition of fatherhood as an opportunity to pay tribute to his old man (played by Bryan Cranston): “Some called him Walter, others called him Heisenberg, but I called him Dad.”
He goes on to list Walter’s many unfatherly qualities – SPOILER ALERT – before offering his thanks to “my TV dad. Walter White. Most dads tell lame knock-knock jokes but you are the one who knocks and for that we all thank you and wish you a happy Father’s Day.” Take a look below…
