EastEnders star Lacey Turner is reprising her role as Molly Dawes in a new five-part show that will pick up where BBC drama Our Girl left off.
Turner was accompanied by Ramsay Snow actor Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) at Swansea station, where they were filming scenes for the series.
Our Girl follows Molly Dawes, born and raised in the deprived east London borough of Newham. She leaves school with no qualifications and works part time in a nail bar. On her 18th birthday, she throws up in the doorway of the Army Recruitment Office, which leads her on a very different career path.
Our Girl was written as a television movie, and first aired in March 2013. Last December TV bosses commissioned a full length series, which will follow Molly as medic in Afghanistan.
The release date for the next instalment of Our Girl is yet to be announced.
Turner is best known for her role as Stacey Branning in EastEnders. She is currently taking a short break from the BBC1 soap to film Our Girl but will be back on Albert Square soon.
