Twilight’s Taylor Lautner spotted filming BBC series Cuckoo in Buckinghamshire

The US actor was seen shooting at Amersham-on-the-Hill’s train station

Taylor Lautner, known for playing Jacob Black in the Twilight Saga alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, was spotted recently in the sleepy market town of Amersham.

The US actor has swapped his role as a teenage werewolf for a part on UK TV. He joins BBC3’s comedy Cuckoo, which stars Greg Davies, and will play a mysterious stranger who turns the family’s lives upside-down, after their unwanted son-in-law disappears while walking in the Himalayas.

Charming Lautner posed for lots of selfies with fans in Amersham inbetween shooting last week. The actor was also spotted on a night out in Mayfair in March, ahead of filming for the series.

Cuckoo became BBC3’s biggest comedy launch when it aired in September 2012. It was also nominated for two British Comedy awards. However, Lautner’s new show may not even make in on to terrestrial telly if the BBC do end up scrapping BBC3. The broadcaster plans to make BBC3 an online-only channel in a bid to save £100 million.
