The latest instalment in the Planet of the Apes reboot hits cinemas on 17 July, with a cast that includes Gary Oldman, Andy Serkis, Keri Russell and Jason Clarke.
And it seems a lot has happened since super-intelligent chimpanzee Caesar (Andy Serkis) led an ape revolution in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. They have set up a nice, peaceful home for themselves in the forest and learnt to ride horses… while half the population of Earth has died from a virus. Now the surviving humans are split between those who want to find common ground with the primates, and those who want to destroy them.
Guess who wins.
The CGI looks incredible, and the human actors aren’t far behind, with Oldman giving it his over-the-top all as the leader of the anti-ape alliance. So the scene is set for an epic battle, and now’s the time to decide, are you Team Ape or Team Human?
