Martin Freeman to appear on Alan Carr Chatty Man with Lindsay Lohan

Fargo and Sherlock star will join the chat show this Friday night as Lohan discusses her new TV docu-series

Actor Martin Freeman has been confirmed as a guest on this Friday night’s Alan Carr Chatty Man show.

Freeman will no doubt be supping a beverage or two from Carr’s famous (or perhaps that should be infamous) mini bar as he speaks about his latest series, Fargo.

The TV re-make, in which Freeman plays failed insurance salesman Lester Nygaard, has already won US fans over and its Channel 4 launch over the Easter weekend appears to have hit the right notes with fans, too.

Carr is bound to get Freeman talking Sherlock too, as fans await news on the fourth series of the detective drama in which he stars as Doctor John Watson alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.

It’s a packed night on Carr’s sofa as US film star Linday Lohan also joins the show to discussed her docu-series, the self-titled Lindsay Lohan, which will be shown on TLC (from Sunday 4th May, 9pm).

Plus, Embarrassing Bodies star Doctor Christian Jessen will be there to talk about the latest series ‘Live from the clinic’. Let’s hope Alan hasn’t got anything he’s keen to have checked out…

Music this week comes from The Kooks, and with Carr’s track record for getting people dancing (remember the Tom Hiddleston dance?) here’s hoping he gets Freeman up on his feet, too.

See Alan Carr: Chatty Man this Friday at 10:00pm on Channel 4
