Jurassic World to start shooting in Hawaii with Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan

The actors for the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise arrive in the tropical US state

Slumdog Millionaire actor Irrfan Khan tweeted yesterday that he was is in Hawaii. The Bollywood A-lister will play the role of the park owner in the fourth dose of dinosaur action – Jurassic World.


Chris Pratt (Her), Judy Greer (What Women Want), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help) and Jake Johnson (New Girl) have also been cast in the new movie.

“The film will be produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Colin Trevorrow. The first schedule of the film will be shot in Hawaii and I will stay in the US for the whole of May,” Khan explained to the Press Trust of India, before he left for Hawaii.

Rumours are circulating that Jurassic World will include under water dinosaurs and will be set 22 years after Jurassic Park. Director Trevorrow also revealed that the movie is not a ‘reboot’, but a continuation from the original story.

Jurassic World will shoot in Hawaii’s Oahu and Kauai, before moving to Louisiana. Trevorrow has been tweeting pictures of his location scouting…

Jurassic World is set to be released in June, 2015.
