The MasterChef kitchen is lighting up the stoves once more as another group of chefs battle to be crowned MC champ.
There’s a few changes this year. There’s two sealed boxes to choose from in the Invention Test and a whole load of familiar MasterChef finalists and winners are back. There’ll be there to help judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace decide who’s good enough to make it past the opening rounds.
But, of course, there’s bound to be plenty of familiar action to look out for in this tenth anniversary series. A bit like this perhaps…
A lot of wiping of sauces on the plate
A lot of Gregg Wallace angry
And Gregg Wallace worried
John Torode to camera saying how everything is basically going to go wrong for everyone
John rocking his Daz advert-worthy chef whites
Lingering close-ups on food to make you JUST.SO.HUNGRY
Gregg’s face of absolute shock when he puts something in his mouth that he doesn’t like
Ooh, but he loves a good pud, does Gregg
Look out for John taking over the cooking to show us how it really should be done
And secretly loving it when they can’t quite do it…
And an awful lot of slow-mo plate to moooouuutthhh….
Ah guys, it’s good to have you back.
See MasterChef tonight, 9:00pm on BBC1
