How to see Orlando Bloom get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Hobbit actor to be honoured next week – and here’s how you can see it

Actor Orlando Bloom is to get his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The ceremony for the star of The Hobbit will take place at 11:30am on Wednesday April 2.

Bloom’s star will be the 2,521st star on the Walk in the category of Motion Pictures. This follows the recent addition of actress Kate Winslet.

Actor Forest Whitaker and director David Leveaux will guest speak at Bloom’s ceremony, celebrating his time in big movie franchises including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

If you happen to be in and around the area, it’s free to pop along and watch the ceremony. If not, you can catch all of the action live on the Walk of Fame website.
