With less than two months until the fourth season of Game of Thrones premieres on Sky Atlantic, HBO has released an extended teaser featuring interviews with the cast and executive producers.

The 15-minute clip entitled “Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing” starts off with a heart-pounding, action-packed montage of scenes from the upcoming season, which picks up right where season three left us.

Numerous intrigues are sprinkled throughout the clip, with exciting footage from the upcoming Purple Wedding of King Joffrey and Marjorie Tyrell. No official word if it’s going to be as shocking as the Red Wedding, but one way or another, we’re expecting a jaw-dropping affair.

The interviews with the ever-expanding cast give a humorous behind-the-scenes look at the serious drama, with a clip of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Peter Dinklage performing an impromptu dance number down the steps of the court.

The producers also hint at mounting problems for Tyrion Lannister and the danger of Daenerys Targaryen’s growing dragons. We even get a first look at new character Dornish Prince Oberyn Martell, played by Pedro Pascal (Homeland).

The preview ends with executive producer DB Weiss promising more climactic events than ever before. Argh, do we really have to wait until April?!
