Matt Damon, Hugh Bonneville and John Goodman gush about director George Clooney

The Monuments Men stars are a happy bunch with “inspiring” Clooney behind the camera

George Clooney isn’t just starring in upcoming Second World War film The Monuments Men, he’s behind the camera – and the stars love it.

Cate Blanchett says Clooney brings a “lightness” to the set, while Damon adds that everyone “is in this relaxed state of bliss”.

Bill Murray goes on to say that Clooney has fun – which is an important ingredient. “If you’re not having fun, you shouldn’t be here, you should be doing something else for a living.”

Mr Clooney himself notes, “I really enjoy what we do. If you’re lucky enough to be in the position we’re in you better be having fun, because most people don’t get to have that experience.”
