As Doctor Who picked up awards at last night's NTAs, Jenna Coleman talked "amazing" Peter Capaldi and a "cracking" series eight

With a 50th anniversary, a new companion AND a regeneration, 2013 was a great year for Doctor Who. A fact which was marked last night when the BBC1 sci-fi show picked up two gongs at the National Television Awards. 


Jenna Coleman, who plays the Doctor’s companion Clara, was there to accept the show’s awards, for best drama and best drama performance, which she collected for former Doctor Matt Smith. And we were there to chat to her about what to expect from the next year of Doctor Who, and our new timelord Peter Capaldi…
