Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates are here to help ring in the New Year with a bunch of popular tracks from this year’s charts. There’ll be awkward bopping in front of the cameras (and probably at home after a sherry or two) as the show celebrates tracks from the likes of Ellie Goulding and Little Mix.

The Big Bang Theory: Viewers’ Top Five – 8:00pm, E4

Big Bang Theory fans have been voting in their droves, and tonight, yes tonight, the top five episodes will be revealed. There were 25 episodes to choose from, and given the popularity of the show, it’s unlikely the five will be anything but a delight to be enjoyed as the New Year comes along.

Celebrity Fifteen to One – 8:00pm, Channel 4

Comedian Adam Hills is at the helm of this festive edition of the comeback quiz. He’s in good company for a night of raucous silly answers and general quiz show merriment as Jo Brand, Jonathan Ross, Fern Britton, Dr Dawn Harper, Alex Brooker, Eamonn Holmes, Konnie Huq and Stephen Mangan are among the celebrity line-up.

Alan Carr’s New Year Specstacular – 9:00pm, Channel 4

Chatty Man himself Alan Carr has a host of famous friends ready to help him celebrate New Year in true bonkers fashion. James Corden, Keith Lemon, Ben Cohen and Abbey Clancey drop by for various silly antics and music comes courtesy of Tine Tempah and Katy B.

Funny Old Year – 10:15pm, ITV

Comedian Jason Manford is ready to laugh us through a year of goofs and gaffs, with a good bit of banter about the year’s various fads. Miley Cyrus, David Cameron and the like are bound to pop up as Manford gently pokes fun at the past twelve months.

Gary Barlow’s Big Ben Bash – 11:15pm, BBC1

Let Take That frontman Gary Barlow sing you through the end of 2013 and into the beginning of 2014 live from Central Hall in Westminster. There’s a bit of break for the London fireworks (naturally) but he’ll see you through until 12:30am with his big hits and crowd pleasers.
