Strictly Come Dancing 2013: week ten musicals song and dance list revealed

From The Lion King to The Sound of Music, the remaining celebrities will be taking inspiration from well-loved musicals during Saturday's live show

It’s week ten. And the remaining celebrities are putting their all into impressing those judges…

…by dancing to songs from well-loved musicals, of course!

This Saturday Sophie Ellis Bextor will be hoping her Viennese Waltz to The Sound of Music’s My Favourite Things is one of the judges’ favourite things.

After three weeks in the dance off, Mark Benton will be aiming for the Strictly crown with his Samba to I Just Can’t Wait to be King from The Lion King.

Natalie Guemede will be dancing the American Smooth to Dreamgirls track I Am Telling You I’m Not Going (think she’s trying to make a statement there…) while Ashley Taylor Dawson, who came in second on last week’s leader board, will be trying to dethrone her with his Rumba to A Whole New World from Aladdin.

Here’s the whole list:

Ashley and Ola: Rumba – A Whole New World from Aladdin by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle

Patrick and Anya: Charleston – Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Abbey and Aljaz: Salsa – You Should Be Dancing by the Bee Gees

Sophie and Brendan: Viennese Waltz to the Sound of Music’s My Favourite Things by Julie Andrews

Mark and Iveta: Samba to The Lion King’s I Just Can’t Wait To Be King

Susanna and Kevin: Quickstep – Singin’ In The Rain’s Good Morning by Tommy Steele

Natalie and Artem: American Smooth – Dreamgirls’ I Am Telling You I’m Not Going by Jennifer Hudson

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7:00pm on BBC1.
