Joey Essex has stormed through this year’s Bushtucker Trials in a blaze of star-filled glory and it looks like Kian Egan is calling on the Essex lad’s talents to help him conquer tonight’s challenge.
“I’m excited, I’m nervous. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be reem,” the Westlife star enthused.
I bet Kian never thought he’d see the day…
The singer is pretty chuffed to be giving Joey the day off, given the TOWIE star has done most of the trials. Not out of choice of course. That’s our fault for voting for Joey all of the time. But as fashion designer David Emanuel notes, with that comes higher expectation:
“Don’t forget Joey’s done incredibly well and boys being boys, [Kian] wants to prove he can do it as well so that’s the added pressure.”
Indeed, Kian is going in with the intention of winning all nine stars (three of the celebs will be in the lap of luxury on their halfway holiday) and will endure a dark cave of snakes, spiders, eels (need I go on?) for his efforts.
Back in the camp, dancer Vincent Simone has found himself in hot water for making use of a tree, rather than the toilet, to relieve himself during the night.
Emmerdale’s Lucy Pargeter, who until now has kept any complaints to herself, snaps, “Vincent, no weeing in camp. Because it brings the rats and things. They want to scent over the scent.”
Vincent being Vincent sees the positive side of the matter. “Unfortunately I’m not allowed to do pee pees on the trees anymore. The scent of my smell is unbelievable. The mouses love it.”
