Matt Smith and David Tennant will be appearing together on Norton’s sofa in an edition to be screened on Friday 22 November – the day before the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special episode again brings the two stars together.

Emma Thompson, Jimmy Carr and Robbie Williams will also feature on the chat show, but for Doctor Who fans the two Doctors will be the main draw as they prepare for arguably the biggest event in the sci-fi show’s history…

Smith’s 11th incarnation and Tennant’s tenth will join forces with John Hurt’s new dark and mysterious incarnation of the Time Lord for anniversary adventure The Day of the Doctor, which screens on BBC1 50 years to the day after the first ever episode aired.

The Graham Norton Show is on Friday 22 November at 10:35pm on BBC1
